Our Blackwater Alcohol and Drug (AOD) team provides a range of free services. Our experienced counsellors can help with confidential support and advice including:

• face to face counselling and case management for young people and adults
• helping to reduce the harms associated with alcohol and drug use
• putting together a plan and practical strategies to deal with and/or reduce use
• information and referral to other treatment and support services
• support in dealing with the impact of drug use on families and loved ones
• links to further information and education resources group programs

Examples of support which the team can provide include:

• illicit drug misuse and/or dependence
• alcohol dependence and “binge” drinking
• recovery planning
• non-residential rehabilitation (day/group programs)
• pre and post rehabilitation support
• family and carer support
• relapse prevention
• AOD community education and prevention
• methamphetamine recovery support
• case management
