About Us
The Blue Care Respite Centre offers access to Home and Community Care (HACC) programs. HACC programs are a joint state and federal government initiative which provides frail aged people and people with a disability access to practical services which assist them to continue living in their own home. Support services are also available for carers. Services which may be available to eligible clients include domestic assistance, social support, personal care, respite care (in home and centre - based), allied health services (such as podiatry, dietetics, physiotherapy and speech pathology) and referral to other support services where needed (such as Meals on Wheels). Fees apply to certain HACC services, but special arrangements may be made for people who cannot afford these costs.
