The Emerald Medical Group is a primary healthcare practice dedicated to meeting the healthcare needs of the Central Highlands’ communities by providing high quality patient-centred medical care that is accessible and affordable.

We offer a range of diagnostic, health and medical services provided by General Practitioners and Nurses. Allied Health Professionals and Visiting Specialists.

Pathology and a Pharmacy services are co-located on site.

 Medical training is a core aspect of the Emerald Medical Group: we support a number of registrars in our practice each year. The registrars are studying to achieve their specialist qualifications in General Practice and are supported by a experienced senior colleagues. We also provide placements for Interns, Medical and Nursing Students.  We believe in these educational and professional development opportunities are key to developing our health workforce in rural and remote communities.

We have a number of services on site here at Emerald medical group including Pathology, Pharmacy, Ultrasound, Employment medicals and a coffee shop. Making it easier for our patients to complete any tests or pick up any documents, prescriptions (or even a coffee), all in one place.
