About Us

Integreat Queensland opens up opportunities for everyone from everywhere to get involved, feel welcome, learn new things, and contribute to a strong, thriving local community.

For over 10 years, we’ve been helping new and existing residents across central Queensland to come together and enrich their lives through these connections. If you’re from a different country, background or part of Australia, we can support you to confidently settle in, make friends, learn new skills, share your knowledge and culture, and build relationships with local people that benefit everyone.

Through our range of programs, services, events and networks, you can get involved in four key ways:

  • Healthy families – join with other newcomers and local families to develop skills and experiences, meet with other families, and learn how to make your family more resilient
  • Community participation – come and meet interesting people from all backgrounds and cultures through local initiatives and events, and find out more about other programs and services in the area
  • Learning for the future – take part in our education programs to get the skills you need, boost employment options, and create new opportunities
  • Strengthening networks – get alongside special interest groups and other local organisations to help them achieve their goals for our community.

We believe that by joining together, our region is stronger. By tapping into the richness of what every person has to offer, we’re helping shape a diverse, inclusive community where people want to live.
