About Us

Integreat Queensland opens up opportunities for everyone from everywhere to get involved, feel welcome, learn new things, and contribute to a strong, thriving local community.

For over 10 years, we’ve been helping new and existing residents across central Queensland to come together and enrich their lives through these connections. With your support, you can be part of our mission to assist newcomers from Australia and all over the world to confidently integrate with our community and make it a better place to live.

Through our range of programs, services, events and networks, we’re strengthening our region in four key ways:

  • Healthy families – assisting newcomers and local families to develop skills and experiences, meet with other families, and learn how to make their families more resilient
  • Community participation – bringing together people from all backgrounds and cultures through local initiatives and events, and linking new residents with information, programs and services in the area
  • Learning for the future – offering education programs and support so people can get the skills they need, boost employment options, and create new opportunities
  • Strengthening networks – working with special interest groups and other local organisations to help them achieve their goals for our community.

We believe that by joining together, our region is stronger. By tapping into the richness of what every person has to offer, we’re helping shape a diverse, inclusive community
