About Us

The Gladstone Performing Arts Company (GPAC) is a not for profit organisation dedicated to the development, promotion and enhancement of the performing arts community in Gladstone. We aim to provide opportunities for the Gladstone Region to become involved in performing arts projects on a regular basis.

GPAC encourages all to be involved in the performing arts to enhance their physical and emotional well being through involvement in a musical and artistic community. GPAC has three subsidiary groups that the community can join and participate in.

Company of Voices: A community choir for all vocal types and abilities. We rehearse on Monday evenings and have regular performances through the year. Company of Voices welcomes new members who love to sing and have fun! Youth Academy: Youth Academy is for any school age student (school grades 3–12) interested in singing and acting. The Youth Academy program includes 45 minutes of both drama and singing teaching and development. Repertoire is selected to give students a breadth of experience vocally and dramatically.

GPAC Youth Academy’s vision is to build upon performing arts opportunities for young people, and to support teachers and students in performing arts in the Gladstone region, with a central focus on quality, accessibility, and longevity. Company of Dramatic Artists: GPAC's Company of Dramatic Artists (CODA) is a stage performance group for ages 18 and above. CODA aims to develop and improve stagecraft and performance skills through various acting workshops and to provide performance opportunities for the adult community of the Gladstone Region. Past performances include Cheque Please and Mystery on the Orient Express.
