Rockhampton 60 & Better Program

60 and Better Programs are community organisations sponsored by Queensland Health. The primary objective is the promotion of health and well being of people over the age of 50. Designed and managed for older people by older people with the assistance of a coordinator, the Rockhampton Program offers a wide-ranging diversity of experiences including: low impact exercise activities, cards and board games and scrabble, day trips, luncheons, workshops and information mornings with guest speakers and an organised annual holiday for members. There is no joining fee.
