About Us

This is an “out-and-back” course along the scenic Goondiwindi Levee Bank. Starting at the Skate Park at the Riddles Oval Complex, run east along the Levee Bank until you reach the turnaround point at McLean Street (near the old Goondiwindi Bridge/Customs House). Re-trace your steps back to the finish line. The course is flat and fully concreted. Beware of the Bollards at the turnaround point, and also near the Hospital. Facilities There is ample car parking along Lagoon Street and a grassed area with shade and picnic benches near the Skate Park. Toilets are approximately 150m along the eastern levee bank from the carpark. There are water bubblers and toilets on the course. Getting There Location of startThe run starts at the Goondiwindi Skate Park at the Riddles Oval Complex (Lagoon Street). Getting there by public transportNo public transport available in Goondiwindi. Taxis are available. Getting there on footDepending on where you are staying in town, the start line is no more than a few kilometres from the outskirts of town. So if you’re keen, why not have an earlier start and run or ride your bike down. Getting there by roadIf using SATNAV, the nearest postcode is 4390. From the Cunningham/Newell HWY: at the roundabout, head West towards the Town Centre (along Marshall Street). Follow the signs to Toowoomba until you see the Riddles Oval Complex on your left. From the Leichardt/Barwon HWY: head east towards the Town Centre along Lagoon Street, until you see the Riddles Oval Complex on your right.
