About Us

To promote the knowledge and advancement of all that pertains to orchids including their natural history, propagation and cultivation. To encourage and support the culture and conservation of orchids, generally, in horticulture, and in their native habitat. To liaise with relevant authorities and community groups for re-establishment of orchids in their native habitat locally and the general protection of orchids in the environment. To educate members and public generally by publishing, editing or reviewing information which relates to the scientific, cultural and general knowledge of orchids. To promote and conduct orchid shows, displays or exhibitions, either alone or in conjunction with other societies, authorities or persons. To promote good fellowship and create public Interest in the activities of LADOS Inc.
