Disabilities

Civic Solutions supports the needs of individuals with a disability by providing opportunities and a range of choices to develop their potential.

We offer a combination of services to individuals with a disability 5 years of age to 65 years of age. All services and supports focus on Life Skills enabling individuals the opportunity to be involved in, acquire, maintain and enhance independence into their future. Individuals requiring our assistance can access one or a combination of servicesdepending on need and financial status.

Services provided

Life Skills Centre

This is a centre based model of service delivery providing two options of Life Skills programs and activities.

Program Option One – is an innovative life learning program for more independent individuals.

Program Option Two – is an innovative life learning program for individuals who may have higher level support needs. Option Two may also be considered as a form of relief for carers/ families from their caring roles.

In Home Support Service

The In Home Support Service provides support and assistance to individuals within their own home environment. Such support includes: enhancing life skills and independence, assistance with personal care, meal preparation, budgeting, awareness and support to access and build relationships within the local community, encouraging community access.

Respite Care

Civic Solutions provides both Afternoon Respite and School Holiday Centre Based Respite from our Life Skills Centre  located at Berrinba (Logan City).

This service provides an opportunity for social recreational activities to allow parents/carers regular and planned respite.
