Metropolitan South Institute of TAFE (MSIT) is one of the largest vocational education and training providers in Queensland. Providing over 400 programs across 10 campuses on the South Side of Brisbane, MSIT was formed from the amalgamation of the non-trade elements of the former Moreton, Yeronga and Logan Institutes of TAFE. MSIT is a leading provider in areas including Employability Skills, Fashion, Training and Assessment (TAFE Teaching), Health, Aged Care and Small Business.
Offering programs including English as a Second Language, Literacy and Numeracy, Hairdressing and Beauty, Business, Children's Services, Community Welfare Work, Justice Administration, Horticulture, Native Animal Rehabilitation, IT, Retail, Hospitality and Creative Industries, there is something for everyone.
Whether changing careers or returning to the workforce, gaining qualifications to get that job or a guaranteed pathway to university, MSIT offers a range of programs to suit your study needs. Flexible delivery options are available, and specialised courses for groups such as people from a non-English speaking background are offered. Brisbane's only Senior Studies Course (Year 11 & 12 Equivalent) is also available at the Alexandra Hills campus.
Four major campuses are located at Alexandra Hills, Loganlea, Mt Gravatt and Yeronga, with six satellite campuses located at Annerley, Beaudesert, Browns Plains, Carindale, Chelmer and Springwood.
