We are a Long Day Care Centre catering for 3-5 year olds. Our program is an Islamic program comprising Quran, Arabic, Nasheeds, Good character and mannerisms, Salah(Prayer) and du’aa (supplications). We run a Queensland Govt. approved Kindergarten program as well as a Montessori program. Before and after school care is also provided. We are a 100% multicultural environment and cater for a variety of families from various backgrounds from all over the world. Our educators are all mutilingual and effectively guide and assist the children in their development as wholistic individuals with a responsibility to their Deen(religion). Shajarah Islamic Kindergarten is set in a lovely natural garden with trees and plants, attracting lorikeets, owls and a variety of birds. The children are given the opportunity to learn how to climb real trees and to negotiate real obstacles within their environment as well as observe the different seasons as nature presents it’s changing colours and features.  Our service has been rated and assessed as “Exceeding National Quality Standards”, and we are continuously visiting our QIP in our aim to provide an exceeding service. Costs - $85.00 a day -Long Day Care/Kindergarten; HCC applicable as per eligibility of families; $29 Before and After School Care; $65 Vacation Care; Includes morning tea and afternoon tea.
