parkrun - Berrinba

This is a 5km circuit running in an anti-clockwise direction. The pre-run briefing is conducted on the grass adjacent to the interpretive centre where the finish line is also located. For the first 1.3km you follow the wetland around keeping it on your left. Turning to your right and heading out to the back of the course for 2.7km to take in some mild undulations. You then take another right turn keeping the wetlands on your left for the final 1km to reach the finish line. The course takes in some amazing scenery of native flora and fauna, there is also some great views available from the bridges as you pass over them Facilities There are toilet amenities close to the start/finish. There is a large kid’s playground within the park. There is permanent gym equipment located around the park for further exercise after your parkrun. An interpretive centre and viewing platform. Getting there by public transportN/A Getting there on footFrom Browns Plains road turn into Wayne Goss Drive, follow this for 400 metres until you come to the interpretive centre. Proceed down the stairs or ramp to the start line Getting there by roadIf heading south from Brisbane along Beaudesert road turn left onto Browns Plains road. Follow this along till you come to a roundabout and turn left into Wayne Goss drive and follow this for 400 metres until you reach the interpretive centre and car park. If the car park is full please feel free to use the (plentiful amount of) curb side parking available and follow the walking path to the interpretive centre and start line.
