Commonwealth Respite and Carelink Centre - Northern

Commonwealth Respite and Carelink Centre: provide information and advice about respite care and other support services to the broader community including service providers.
Commonwealth Respite and Carelink is an Australian wide service, funded to support Carers in their caring role, for respite care in emergency or short term planned care situations which can be done in the home, community or residential respite in an aged care facility.
We also have the Younger Carer Program which supports students whose education is at risk.
We also have the Mental Health Respite Program which supports Carers with an intellectual disability (including Autism) psychiatric or mental health issues including depression. Please phone 1800 052 222 for any information.
