What is Allied Health ?

Allied Health professionals are an integral part of the healthcare team providing support of a person’s diagnosis, recovery and quality of life. They work alongside doctors and nurses to ensure and increase a person’s independence, self care and mobility, with a focus on reducing the risk of complications in chronic conditions or after injury or illness.

Our Allied Health Services

Most of our allied health teams provide care to patients throughout our hospital departments as well as in inpatient, outpatient, community and rural settings.
