Lifeline Gambling Help Toowoomba and South West Qld

Gambling Help Toowoomba and South West Queensland is a free, confidential counselling service for anyone affected by problem gambling. We cover the whole South West of Queensland including: Dalby, Toowoomba, Chinchilla, Miles, Roma, Charleville, Cunnamulla, St George, Goondiwindi, Stanthorpe, Warwick, Millmerran, Pittsworth, Crows Nest and Yarraman. We offer face to face counselling within approximately two hours of Toowoomba or we can do telephone appointments.
Community Education
Community Education is a great way of connecting with the community sector and the gaming venues across the entire region as far as Quilpie, Charleville etc. We provide free education and training to community services, schools and gaming venues. Our message is 'responsible gambling', so not telling people that they can’t gamble but advocating for ways to ensure gambling can remain responsible, entertaining and fun without becoming a negative behaviour. We can provide insights into risk factors and protective factors, debunk myths and fallacies about gambling, and assistance with recognising and helping the problem gambler to overcome their addiction.
