About Us
The Lifeline RFCS is based at the Lifeline office in Charleville and is a centre based and outreach service that provides safe confidential counselling and support to families facing a broad range of issues including grief and loss, social isolation, relationship problems and parenting. Counselling services are provided face to face and telephone. Counselling services are provided within Charleville as well as to regional centres including Augathella, Morven, Mitchell, Wyandra, Cunnamulla, Tambo, Quilpie and Thargomindah. The Rural Family Counsellor provides counselling to families with dependent children aged between 0 -18 years . The aim of the service is to build on existing strengths, increase the emotional capacity of family members, by developing healthy coping strategies, emotional resilience and self-esteem of individuals and family members. This program is funded by the Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disabilities Services.
