Community Justice Group - Palm Island

Community Justice Groups (CJGs) are responsible for developing alcohol management plans. Once a group has been established it will have the authority to: make declarations about dry places within their community provide recommendations to the government and to any Community Liquor Licence Board about canteen operations make recommendations to the Minister administering the Liquor Act 1992 about declarations of restricted areas implement local strategies to address justice issues in their community.
