Peer Support Service

BIG is a peer-operated mental health service, supporting people in their recovery journeys by providing rich and rewarding opportunities for growth, social inclusion and recreation.

We provide a variety of peer-led initiatives, support groups, activities, art groups, music groups and outreach services. We facilitate positive social networks and mutual support between our members and focus on recovery and whole of life wellbeing.

Since 2000, BIG has been supporting people throughout the Redland and Bayside areas by offering one-on-one and group peer support, advocating on behalf of our members, encouraging participation in the community, and most importantly, providing a welcoming sanctuary where members can feel safe and included.
