Donald Simpson Community Centre Ltd

The Donald Simpson Community Centre (Your Meeting Place) offers a wide range of activities to members, residing in the Redland City Council.

Recreational and educational activities include, a walking group, yoga, Tai chi, ballroom dancing and line dancing. Social companionship and entertainment is provided through friendship and cultural activities including, dancing, theatricals and bus trips. Games groups play indoor bowls,  card games and table tennis. Art and Craft activities include painting, sketching, leatherwork, woodcraft, handicraft and quilting. Other activities include topical seminars, workshops, computer classes, health education, discussion groups and language classes.

A small annual membership fee applies. A nominal fee is charged for participation in activities, which assists meeting the cost of running the centre.

There is a  café available for members and guests from Monday to Friday from 8.30am until 2.00pm. They have a large variety of meals available at discounted prices.
