About Us

Training and Employment Opportunities for Participants Include:

  • Central Queensland University and Central Queensland Institute of TAFE - offer a variety of Certificate level courses, Bachelor degrees and post graduate studies.
  • A variety of traineeships and apprenticeship opportunities.
  • Several Registered Training and Group Training Organisations who offer Certificate level courses.

 

Recreational Activities for IYMP Participants:

IYMP Rockhampton participants are actively engaged in many recreational activities including:

  • Team sports
  • Movie nights
  • IYMP barbecues
  • Bowling evenings
  • Local football games
  • Fishing trips 

Living in IYMP Accommodation:

Participants have the opportunity to develop strong friendships with one another and to live in an environment which motivates each participant to achieve their personal, educational and career goals. IYMP accommodation is supported by culturally appropriate residential workers who offer holistic support to grow participants towards independence.
