About Us

The Roseberry Qld Transition to Independent Living (TIL) service provides support to young people aged 16-25 who are living independently.  It aims to provide practical support for the emotional well-being of the young person.

The TIL service aims to assist young people to pursue appropriate options within the community. This includes:

· Referrals to appropriate services;

· Information provision;

· Advocacy;

· Transport to appointments;

· Practical assistance such as budgeting, menu preparation and shopping lists.

· Housing;

· Employment, training, schooling; and/or

· Personal issues.

The crisis accommodation program - Roseberry Qld Jacks House provides short term accommodation and support for young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness aged between 16-19 years. Jack's House Youth Workers strive to build the dignity, self esteem and independence of the young people through recognising the importance of families, enhancing basic living skills and to assist them to be able to maintain and sustain independent accommodation in the community.  Jack's House Youth Shelter is located at 122 Kent Street, Rockhampton.
