About Us

Philip Street Health Service is provided in a culturally appropriate manner by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers operating in teams throughout Central, North and Western Queensland. Staff members include health workers, indigenous health workers, hospital indigenous liaison officer, clinical child health nurses and midwives and psychologist. Services include: • Antenatal Clinic • Obstetric Clinic • Under 5’s Program – immunisation clinic, paediatric clinic, hearing clinic, early intervention parenting specialist, drop-in speech clinic, diet and nutrition, hearing, immunisation, developmental screening services• Hospital liaison officer • Women’s health – health promotion, breast screening and pap smear clinic appts arranged
