General Welfare & Support Services
GTO Young Women’s Support Service Inc provides a range of programs to young women, including parents across the Rockhampton Local Government Area. We deliver client focused, responsive and coordinated case management to clients who may fall in one or more of the following categories:
- Across the spectrum of homelessness
- Including young women living rough and/or in transitional accommodation
- Who require parenting support
- Who require support and advice on relationships, advocacy, education, learning and development
The Young Empowered Parents (YEP) program contributes to positive beginnings for young parents up to the age of 25.
The Young Mums Support program aims to support young mums in the Rockhampton region by building parenting and relationship skills, reducing isolation and by providing support to enhance social and emotional well-being. The program is for women up to the age of 25 years old who are mothers or who are pregnant and provides information and assistance.
The H2H Program is for young women aged between the ages of 16-25 years old who need assistance in accessing housing and accommodation.
GTO Young Women’s Support Service Inc provides a range of programs to homeless and at risk of homelessness young women, including parents across the Rockhampton Local Government Area.
GTO delivers client focused, responsive and coordinated case management to clients across the spectrum of homelessness. This includes young women living rough and/or in crisis or transitional accommodation through to tenancy support for clients in post crisis or who require early intervention.
Case Managers at GTO work in a multi- disciplinary environment and with our community partners and other service providers to ensure a range of appropriate services and interventions are available to clients.
