2023 New Timetable and extra classes

 

Yoga Chi Gung

 

A beautifully designed class based on energetic work from Chi Gung, strengthening and stretching from various forms of various forms of Yoga and Pilates, and awareness of posture and movement from Alexander Technique and Feldenkrais, combined in a balanced and potent way, conducive to health and healing.

This class increases energy levels, reduced blood pressure and heart rate, strengthens the back, core, legs and joints, and increases flexibility, while improving muscle tone, body shape and alignment.

Wonderful for de-stressing, centering and calming the nervous system.

 

When:         

  •                    Wednesdays         10.30 - 12 noon   (BEGINNERS COURSE)
  •                    Wednesdays          5.30 - 7pm    (beg/intermed)
  •                    Thursdays              10 - 11.30am (Yuan Gong Qigong 10 week course with Zenko)
  •                     Fridays                  10.30am - 12 noon (beg/interm)

 

                            

Fitness / HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) / Fit in 15

 

Fat burning exercise routines, based on the latest scientifically proven methods of high intensity training (HIIT), combined with strength work for the core, spine, arms and legs, and gentle stretching exercises to lengthen and relax the muscles.

Benefits include reducing the risks of diabetes, heart disease, cancer and dementia, improved fitness, fat burning and weight loss.

Two short 15 min pre-yoga classes to top up your fitness regime  Wednesday & Friday. 

This class is a culmination of years of research and experience in the fitness and health industry.            

 

When:          

  •                      Wednesdays         5 - 5.15pm    (short & intense, pre YCG)   
  •                      Fridays                 10 - 10.15am (short & intense, pre YCG)

                  

Where:    Classes are at the Wooroolin Public Hall, Bunya Hwy, Wooroolin

 

Cost:      FIRST CLASS IS FREE for those new to our classes

 

Payment Options:

  1. Casual classes - $15 for 1 ½ hr class.
  2. Casual ‘Fit in 15’ - $5 (Free on PASSES)
  3. Class PASSES – If you’re not able to commit to a course but would like to come regularly you may be interested in getting a PASS
  1. 5 classes $65 ($13 /class) Valid for 7 weeks.
  2. 10 classes $110 ($11 /class) Valid for 8 weeks.

FREE ‘Fit in 15’ ON ALL PASSES

  1. COURSES – courses are a great way to learn progressively and more thoroughly, providing better understanding of the content and greater benefits.

As the year progresses there will be other new and exciting courses available. (Check the Facebook timetable details or contact Janine)

 

The first two courses on offer are:

 

  • Beginner’s Yoga Chi Gung – if you prefer gentle Yoga combined with some Chi Gung, this Wednesday morning course is for you. Breathing techniques, gentle flexibility and strength work. Ideal for pregnancy, new mothers, seniors, those recovering from injury and illness. A 6-week course commencing on Wednesday January 18th 2023. Cost $60. Round 2 starts on 1st March until Easter.
  • Yuan Gong Qigong – gentle yet powerful Qigong, easy to learn, increases energy, nourishes body & mind, improves health & longevity, reduces stress & improves mental health. Can be done from standing or sitting.10-weeks with Zenko, beginning Thursday 2nd February, until Easter. $100. Zenko is also available for Personal Tuition.

 

 

NB All of above fees are for those who can afford this amount. If you have financial difficulties, please talk with us about a payment plan, or PAYING by DONATION. We don’t wish to see money as an obstacle to your health and well-being.

These classes are suitable for males and females of any age or ability level, and are personally tailored to abilities of each member.

Janine, your teacher is a qualified Health and Physical Education Teacher, Yoga Chi Gung and Tai Chi Gung Teacher, Ayurvedic Diet and Lifestyle Consultant and Diversional Therapist, and has over 30 years experience teaching various therapeutic exercise modalities.
