About Us

Our Warwick service provides free drug and alcohol counselling services in the town, as well as in surrounding areas including Stanthorpe. Support is delivered in face-to-face sessions or by phone/online. Our professional team can help you to break the cycle of problematic alcohol or drugs, regain control of your life and reach your potential to enjoy a full and rewarding life.

We work with you to identify if you have a problem with drugs or alcohol, its extent and what’s behind it. We then support you and give you the tools to manage, reduce or stop your alcohol or drug misuse.

Worried about a family member or friend who is misusing drugs or alcohol? We can provide you with support so that you feel better placed to cope and support your loved one. Sometimes just talking to someone who doesn’t know the person, can help.

NewAccess - low intensity mental health program

NewAccess is an early intervention program designed to provide easily accessible, free and quality services for people with mild to moderate depression and/or anxiety. The program aims to assist people who are not currently accessing mental health services through Low Intensity Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (LiCBT). Developed by Beyond Blue, the program has been commissioned by the Darling Downs and West Moreton Primary Health Network and is delivered by Lives Lived Well in Warwick.

Through NewAccess, people can participate in up to six free sessions. This includes an assessment and five subsequent sessions, delivered by specifically trained and clinically supervised coaches. The first appointment is normally between 45-60 minutes and subsequent sessions are 20-30 minutes. Sessions are flexibly delivered face-to-face or by phone/online.
