Maroochydore Community Centre

Since 1987 the centre has provided much-needed respite, support care and meals for Sunshine Coast customers. The centre began with three staff, assisted by volunteers, one bus and nineteen customers. We now have two buses, a dozen staff members and many dedicated volunteers who provide a variety of monthly activities designed to develop, maintain and support social interaction and independent living. The Centre has also been the home of Maroochydore Meals on Wheels for more than 45 years. Today, hundreds of meals are prepared, cooked and delivered to customers in the Sunshine Coast region each day.
