About Us

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other so that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is the desire to stop drinking. There are no fees for AA membership. AA is an independent organisation with the primary purpose to stay sober and help other alcoholics achieve sobriety. A helpline operates to offer support, and to advise venues and times for weekly meetings. The helpline can be contacted on (07) 3255 9162.
