Sunshine Coast Medicare Local provides support to GPs, nurses and other practice staff, pharmacists and allied health professionals.
Support may include:
- Providing free education and training sessions to enhance the skills of health staff
- Visiting a practice to support their use of clinical software or data management
- Helping practices to provide culturally appropriate services for Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander or CALD patients
- Providing the latest advice on programs such as eHealth, Closing the Gap and PIR
