Child (and Parent) Information & Counselling
The Family Support Program is a counseling service that aims to:
- Improve the well-being and safety of children, young people and their families.
- Build strong families that can nurture, care and protect their children;
- Link families to other organisations or services that can equip families with resources to resolve their problems and make positive choices and changes.
- Prevents entry or re-entry to the Queensland child protection system.
All of CST’s friendly counselors are degree-qualified professionals who work according to the needs of the family.
Counseling services are usually delivered from CST’s offices. Extended hours may be available upon request.

There is a child or young person (unborn to 18 years) in the family. The family would benefit from the service. The family consents to a referral.
