Vanessa has particular expertise in the treatment of Anxiety and Depression, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Stress Management. She has been a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist since 1997. Vanessa has had close links with the Australian Defence Force, is a former Officer in the Australian Psychology Corps and is an Outreach Psychologist for the Veterans and Veterans Families Counselling Service (VVCS). She has worked in the public Sector as a Psychologist with the Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug Service (ATODS), Community Child and Youth Mental Health Services, Child Health and Community Adult Health Services. In the not for profit sector, she is a former Director of Breakeven, a counselling service for Gamblers and their families and was also the East Coast Area Manager for North and West Queensland Primary Health Care, a not-for-profit service providing allied health services in the rural and remote Queensland.
