About Us

The Hannaford Rose & Geranium Garden Club was formed in Nov 1964 by a group of local ladies from the former Tara Shire in SW QLD. They wanted to share their knowledge and passion about gardening in such a harsh and isolated part of Queensland

It is a local garden club with members meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from March to November in various gardens around the district. Membership is open to everyone in the community, with men most welcome too.

The Garden Club is a wonderful place to make new friendships with like minded people who all share a love and passion for gardening in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
