Showgrounds - Tara

Tara Showgrounds are located on the edge of town on Showgrounds Road next to the Tara Lagoon Camping Area. The Showgrounds is a venue well facilitated with a choice of areas and buildings within the grounds that are well maintained and available for hire. The Showgrounds are home to the Annual Show every March, The Tara Festival of Culture and Camel races every two years in August, Polo Cross, Tara Races, Campdraft, Senior Cricket and at Easter the Sheepdog Trials.
