Bowen Neighbourhood Centre

The Bowen Neighbourhood Centre will provide an innovative, accessible range of services to educate, support and assist people and communities, particularly those most vulnerable.

• The Bowen Neighbourhood Centre offers support, information and referrals in relation to housing needs, legal assistance, domestic violence and other health and community related matters.
• Emergency Relief -Support with food, medication, utility payments, fuel and rental arrears on a case by case basis. Available Mondays and Thursdays.10:30am - 11:30am
• No Interest Loans (NILS) provide individuals and families on low incomes with access to safe, fair and affordable credit.
• Tuckerbox Food Shop open Thursdays 8:00am - 11:00am, Free and low cost food items also available , must have a Concession card to access
• Bowen Community Op Shop - Affordable furniture and household goods. Open Thursdays 8:00am—11:00am. Donations of furniture and household goods greatly appreciated.
