Drug & Alcohol Services

About Us

We provide free alcohol and drug counselling, including face to face sessions and phone counselling during business hours. We can support adults, young people, families and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

We also provide information and referrals between our services located across Central and North Queensland.

We will soon be running Alcohol and Other Drug and ICE Awareness Sessions, which people and families as well as community support workers are welcome to attend. They will include interactive presentations, workshops and group programs.

Our services incorporate individualised planning and care coordination for clients with problematic substance use, including intensive support strategies for methamphetamine dependence rehabilitation, dual diagnosis or co-occurring mental health issues and those with complex needs. Working from within a Harm Reduction model, our staff are skilled in supporting clients and communities to reduce the adverse health, social and economic impacts of drug use. This approach has been adopted by Lives Lived Well to inform the design and delivery of all our programs and services.
