60 and Better programs are managed by older people and are located throughout Queensland. Committees meet regularly to plan activities, discuss health issues and decide on directions for the program.
All 60 and Better activities have an emphasis on keeping the body and the mind fit and active. They encourage new experiences, new friendships and open opportunities for new learning. Some of the programs available are as follows -
Cards, Scrabble, Hoy, Circuit Exercises, Aerobics, Weights, Walking, Bowls, Chair Exercises and Aqua Aerobics. Other activities include Guest Speakers ,Excursions and Craft Groups
