parkrun - Balyang Sanctuary

Starting in the beautiful Balyang Sanctuary the course heads west along the banks of the Barwon River and turns at the picturesque Queenspark Bridge (2.5km). Heading back east along the Barwon River the course winds underneath Shannon Avenue Bridge and back into peaceful Balyang Sanctuary. Facilities Getting There Location of startThe course starts at the south end of Balyang Sanctuary next to the Barwon River. Congregate on the grassed area at the end of the car park. Getting there by public transportGeelong City - Newtown bus routes 35 & 36 travel along West Fyans street and stop at the corner of Stinton Ave or Bridge Street. Turn left at Shannon Ave and left again at Marnock Road.
