R.S.L. - Horsham - Women's Auxiliary

The Horsham RSL Club is the base for the Wimmera Veterans’ Centre (WVC), which supports veterans and their families living in Victoria’s Wimmera Mallee.

Open five-days-a-week, the centre is attended by professional welfare officers who can discuss a wide range of issues with veterans or their dependents including pensions and other financial matters.

Commended by ANZAC House for upholding the ethos (tradition and customs) of the Returned Services League

whilst running a commercial business, the WVC is supported by volunteers who do outreach visits to private homes, nursing homes and hospitals by appointment.

They also regularly hold information days for veterans or
families living in remote areas of the WVC catchment.
