About Us
Better Hearing Australia is a non-profit, self-help organisation, providing an important community service of rehabilitation and support for hearing impaired people with an acquired hearing loss. There are branches in every state, with a total membership of 3000. A National Conference is held annually. This group gives assistance with speech-reading and communication skills. Meetings are held every Thursday at Wesley Church hall.
Activities: Recreation, lunches, outings, technical visitors eg AHS, Telstra, Carelink, Expos
Fees: Annual membership fee is $27 single, $37 double
