The aim of this program is to assist children with their transition into a school setting. We achieve this by planning open-ended and adaptable play-based experiences which will promote children’s sense of resilience, social and emotional development, gross/fine motor skills, sense of belonging to the community and to begin understanding who they are as a person. Additionally, the children will build strong foundations for learning with the introduction of basic literacy, numeracy, science and humanities, giving them the knowledge and understanding for the best possible start for their schooling experiences.

Everyday your child will be exploring different developing skills through play-based experiences which allow children to explore, engage and participate at their own rate. Children will be able to interact with the experiences how they choose, and we endeavour to focus this program on each child’s strengths, this will mean what each child takes away from the school readiness program may differ from their peers.
