Perth Inner City Youth Service (PICYS) is a community based youth service located in West Leederville and provides two separate programs for Youth aged 15 to 25 years old.
PICYS works with young people (and those close to them) to improve their quality of life and their communities affected by homelessness and alcohol or other drugs, mental health issues risk of self harm, diverse sexuality ,suicidal ideation, expiring anxiety or depressive symptoms.
PICYS provides a holistic, strength based approach with psychosocial support for young people in accommodation and transitioning/moving into independent living. It can assist youth with living skills, employment, education, advocacy and family mediation, counselling and practical support and support around drug use, mental health, relationships, diverse sexuality and/or gender and parenting.
PICYS is an independent, incorporated body not-for-profit association. It receives funding via the Personalised Support - Other service type through the Mental Health Commission.
