COMMUNITY & YOUTH TRAINING SERVICES (INC) - West Leederville

CYTS has several sites where it delivers alternative accredited education in community settings for disengaged learners.   There are sites in Bassendean, Balga and Altona where school aged young people who have disengaged from school can attend as an alternative to school.  THe Certificates of General Education are equivalent to year 10 and 11. These qualifications can contribute to their WACE.

Most courses delivered are considered 'foundation skills' courses that assist people with low literacy and numeracy to develop their skills and gain accredited competencies that may assist them to enter the workforce.  CYTS courses can be delivered to any group of people at a site that suits their needs.
