About Us

The South West Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service provides mental health programs to infants, children and young people up to and including 17 years of age. The South West Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service provides a referral driven service which provides initial assessment, management of acuity, therapy and Consultant Psychiatrist opinion.  Recommendations are made to referrers and families, and when offered CAMHS support, a treatment plan developed with the family and young person.  The services are community based and provide supports and advice to local and state wide hospitals. This service can also offer advice regarding the MH Act 2014. SW CAMHS is a regional service with offices in Bunbury, Busselton and Bridgetown.

SW CAMHS operates Monday-Friday, and our business hours are 8:30m – 4:30pm. We are closed over weekends and during public holidays. In the event of a Mental Health Emergency, outside of our operating hours, please contact: Crisis Connect on 1800 048 636 or Go to your local Emergency Department.
