About Us

Vision Statement: With the Good Shepherd as our guide, working together to nurture and develop the whole child.

Nestled in the pictuesque Kelmscott hills, Good Shepherd Catholic Primary School opened its doors in 1977. The beautiful bush surrounds of the school provide a natural environment to learn about the care and respect of God’s creation and each other. The school and Parish have forged strong links through Sacramental Programs, weekly liturgy, development of a school Sacred Space and the famous Parish/School Christmas BBQ.  Good Shepherd offers an excellent holistic education program including specialist subjects of Science, Physical Education, Italian and Music.  Extra programs catering for all students include the Bidjara project, camp, retreat days, Tournament of Minds, literacy support, Festival of Performing Arts, swimming lessons, Eagle Cup carnival, cross country, choir and school band. The school provides Little Lambs Playgroup for 0-3 years, Three year old Education Program and a full Kindergarten to Year Six Program. Good Shepherd’s strong community feel was established very early and continues today with support from our Parent Class Representatives and Good Shepherd Parent Group.  We work together to continue to “LEARN THROUGH FAITH, LOVE AND LAUGHTER’.
