Learn to Earn

Learn to Earn takes place at Banksia Hill Juvenile Detention Centre and is a program designed to raise knowledge and awareness in young offenders about their future career options and opportunities. The program focus is on skill identification and employability concepts such as job readiness.

The program has four key objectives: to promote positive future thinking about life outcomes amongst young men in custody; to enable young men to develop awareness of their skills, abilities and talents; to provide information relevant to each participant’s personal and career needs and to promote job readiness.

The Individualised Community Living Strategy (ICLS) is a community-based outreach program that provides tailored support to people affected by significant mental health issues. This program is delivered in partnership with RUAH Community Services and aims to assist people live independently in their own home, and supports them in the development of a clear plan for their future.
It involves working with the individual, their families, community mental health services and other person or community organisation identified by the individual as an integral part of their recovery plan. Hope offers ICLS services Esperance and Geraldton.

The Transitional Housing and Support Program (THASP) provides a secure and independent space for graduates of Hope’s residential rehabilitation program in the Midwest. THASP residents are able to remain connected to the network of support and friendships that they have built through their time in the program, while establishing themselves in the community and preparing for their future through work, study and other pursuits.
