Claremont Medical Centre is located in an award winning art deco building. Built in 1940 as The Highway Hotel and later The Coronado Hotel, it was refurbished and became a medical centre in 2000. In 2002 it won the prestigious Art Deco Society Award for “Best refurbishment of a heritage listed building”, and in 2004 won the Town of Claremont “Civic Design Award 2004 for Best adaptation of a heritage place” Claremont Medical Centre is a fully accredited General Practice.
