About Us

Starting on the grass between the playpark and the cycle track, the course heads south, using the shared-use path for just over 2km to the Picnic cove. Just after the playpark is a marshalled spot where you'll turn right, then turn right again to head back onto the same track and head back towards Neil Hawkins park. Just after you enter the park, you'll see the finish funnel on your left. Apart from about 30m of concrete paving, the course is run completely on smooth tarmac, and almost completely flat. Please note that dogs are not allowed at Neil Hawkins park and therefore cannot come along to Lake Joondalup parkrun.
