South West Metropolitan Youth Justice Services

Outreach provided to Mandurah part-time by Youth Justice Officers and a Juvenile Justice Team Coordinator.

Youth Justice Services (YJS) is a multi-disciplinary team working to provide an evidenced based responsive service to young people and their families when they come into contact with the youth justice system. It aims to reduce antisocial behaviour, strengthen interagency partnerships and prevent likelihood of further escalation through the youth justice system.  YJS has both diversionary and statutory involvement with young people who commit offences in the community.
