Manjimup Family Centre

Our main focus is on family support and early years services. Our multi award winning program includes facilitated playgroups run by qualified early years specialists along a curriculum, which fosters child devleopment along all major domains: cognitive, social, language, physical (fine & gross motor skills), creative and emotional. Staff explain the why and how childern benefit from actiovities and encourage parents to take ideas home. Playgroups operate Mondays through Thursdays from 9.30am to 11.30am.

Special child development activity groups complement playgroup and see parents actively participate with their child of 2 to 4 years of age in a small group environment.  Little Chefs teaches healthy food choices and preparation, while Fuzzy Buzzy Bear addresses the entire spectrum of child development, encouraging parents to repeat activities at home for greater impact. .

First parents find a lifeline in our Baby & Me group where parenting strategies are discussed over a cuppa and a piece of cake. 

A host of external talks and workshops come to the centre ever so often, with First Aid for Families, Water Safety, KidSafe popular staples, and the odd visit from Maroo Wildlife Park and SciTech being cherries on the educational cake.

We also have programs of other ages, including Tai Chi and Self Defense groups for seniors, foreign language movie clubs and a fully equipped meeting room; so do drop in for a look and a chat. If you like what you experience you and your immediate family (partner and underage children) can access any and all of our services for $25 subscription per quarter or $40 per 6 months.
