The Midwest Community Alcohol and Drug Service (CADS) aims to reduce alcohol and other drug related harm for the people of the Midwest by working with individuals, families and the community to reduce the impact of drug use.

Based in Geraldton the Midwest Community Alcohol and Drug Services provides a fortnightly outreach service to Kalbarri, Dongara, Northampton, Mullewa, Morawa, Three Springs and Eneabba. Once a month the team also travels to Yalgoo, Cue, Mt Magnet, Meekatharra and Wiluna.

These services are free and confidential and provide individuals and their families with alcohol and other drug treatment and support services in the community. The CADS also provide outreach services to nearby communities.

Location: Community Health Building, 51-85 Shenton St, Geraldton.

Individuals do not require a referral and can self-refer by calling or attending their nearest CADS.

The Midwest Mental Health and Community Alcohol and Drug Service provides multidisciplinary assessment, treatment and advice to consumers in the Midwest region with moderate to severe mental health and/or drug and alcohol issues. It also provides support to carers, local health services and other agencies that work with people experiencing mental health and/or drug and alcohol issues.  

The Midwest Mental Health and Community Alcohol and Drug Service provides collaborative, consumer focused and recovery orientated services that is flexible and responsive to consumers’ needs across all ages, cultures and locations.
